Garrett Flores finished his undergrad from the University of Texas at Austin in may 2017 with a degree in Plant Biology. He is now a masters student at A&M and is working on the efficacy of spent coffee grounds as a top dressing fertilizer and/or soil amendment under Dr. Benjamin Wherley. The project will consist of a two year field and greenhouse study with the goal of reducing waste from the ever growing coffee industry.
